How to change tire in San Diego
January 23, 2023
The process of changing a tire is an ability that every driver must be aware of. It isn't always possible to have the convenience of a mechanic garage or gas station nearby when it's time for changing the tire. Blower outs and flats can be not predictable, but we are aware that bad luck can happen at the most inconvenient moments.
Be sure to carry an auto jack, a tool for lugs, and an extra tire. The spare could be a normal tire, like those that are already in your car, or a donut. The donut is a tiny tire and is not designed to travel long distances.
If you happen to be on the road that has a tire that is flat remove yourself from the traffic as the best way you can.
Find a flat, level surface that can provide the required support when changing your tire.
Put the jack on the frame near the tire you want to change, however, make sure that you put the jack in the metal part of the frame to prevent injury.
Before lifting the car off of the ground you should remove the hubcap, and remove those lug nuts. Lift the car off the ground, and remove the nuts completely way.
Take off the tire that was in use and put the new one or the donut onto it and then replace the nuts.
Then slowly lower the vehicle until it is on the floor and put the nuts in place. Replace the hubcap, and then place the jack, wrench, and tire that was previously used into the truck.
Get rid of the tire in an appropriate place.
Making a change to a tire swiftly and efficiently requires some time but if you're able to do it, you'll never need to be worried about getting trapped due to a flat again.
